Hand-rendered illustrations that evoke a sense of place and inspire people to see the potential

Nicolai Kruger is a licensed architect and illustrator based in Portland, Oregon. She spent 15 years in architectural practices including nine years at the firm Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects in Tokyo, Japan. She has vast international experience. In 2019 she founded Nicolai Kruger Studio to focus on what she does best: creating hand-rendered illustrations that evoke a sense of place and inspire people to see the potential.

 

Nicolai loves sharing her expertise with emerging professionals as an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University. Currently she teaches Visual Communication in the School of Architecture and Development Project Design in the Toulan School of Urban Studies & Planning, Masters of Real Estate Development program.
